Spend a full day with Swiss artist Philipp Mettler in a hands-on creative session crafted to ignite self-expression, imagination, and collaboration. Perfect for individuals, couples, or teams, the experience culminates in a one-of-a-kind abstract artwork that captures your vision, emotions, and collective energy. The event takes place at The RTC, 20, Jalan Horley, Imbi, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, where Philipp is artist in residence.

What We'll Do:

• Full-day guided creative session (start 10:00 AM, end flexible, artwork completed the same day)

• Work together in creating a custom large-scale abstract artwork tailored to a wall of your apartment or workspace

• Choose dimensions and a color palette that complements your environment and style

• Collaborate, experiment, and enjoy a hands-on creative process guided by a professional Swiss artist

• No prior art experience required; paint-friendly clothes provided

Throughout his journey, Philipp Mettler embraced one simple truth: people feel more than they express. He lived a life many dream of, a stable, successful career, recognition, and opportunities across Africa, Latin America, and Europe. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of St. Gallen and by the age of 23, he facilitated dialogues between top government and opposition leaders in Venezuela, traveling the world and engaging with diverse cultures. Yet despite these achievements, he often felt trapped by the structure of his life, and unexpressed feelings gradually weighed on him. Living with a lifelong stutter, he understood deeply how hard it is to communicate what lies inside. He then turned towards abstract painting and found a way to explore what words could not capture. Each canvas became a space of discovery, where uncertainty gave way to bold expression, intuition led every fearless movement, and the creative process allowed emotions long held inside to surface and be understood.

Today, Philipp offers this space with others. Many struggle to start, unsure how abstract painting could help them express, reconnect, or create meaning, yet Philipp’s years of professional experience allow him to guide each participant patiently, one step at a time. With Swiss roots that bring precision, quality, and professionalism, he teaches with deep empathy providing space that is safe, expansive, and emotionally alive. The first stroke is always the hardest, yet with his presence the canvas awakens, uncertainty blossoms into courage, and a hidden story emerges.
