What kind of people don't struggle to accept darkness in humankind? Splinter is a close up from the darkest places of our souls. When we zoom in, almost everyone can go to places where rage rules. Where envy drips out of our cells and poisons our thoughts. Yet, their bare existence does not define us. It is just a splinter of your soul. So I definitely do not agree with Titus Maccius Plautus, who claims that "Man is no man, but a wolf, to a stranger" in his play Asinaria and rather support Rutger Bregman's view expressed in his book "Humankind" assuming that people are good.
